[State of Survival] Base Layout

Hi.
In the guide for SoS, it shows a specific layout for the HQ, hospital, comms tower, and shelter. The picture itself shows as being in the upper left corner of the base, but the instructions say center.
Which is correct?

Two different layouts depending on Base level.
The first is for lower level accounts which is the one you described.
The second is for higher level bases that have all barricades unlocked.

Does it matter if the HQ itself is skinned?
No it does not matter if you have different skins for the HQ
Do the food, wood, steel & gas productions need to be in front of the headquarters as mine will not collect.
No they do not. Only the main buildings shown in the screenshot are needed in a specific location.
